Brynne Rebele-Henry is the author of the acclaimed YA novel, Orpheus Girl (Soho Press, 2019). Kirkus Reviews called Orpheus Girl, “A bold, graphic tale about the costs of exclusion.” Orpheus Girl has been reviewed in NPR, and listed as one of the most anticipated YA novels of fall 2019 by Barnes & Noble and The Chicago Review of Books. She's the author of two poetry books, Fleshgraphs (Nightboat Books, 2016), which was published when she was 16 years old, and was described by Publisher’s Weekly as “A visceral engagement with the politics and poetics of girlhood.” Her second book, Autobiography of a Wound, won the AWP Donald Hall Poetry Prize, was one of Library Journal’s Top Fall Poetry Picks for 2018, and was a finalist for the 2019 Publishing Triangle Audre Lorde Award for lesbian poetry.
