Saretta Morgan

Saretta Morgan is the author of Alt-Nature (Coffee House Press, 2024), and the chapbooks Feeling Upon Arrival, and room for a counter interior. Her work engages the ecologies and forms of connectivity that materialize in the shadows of militarization, incarceration, and U.S. imperialism. Her writing has appeared in Best American Experimental Writing, The Volta, Split This Rock!, Academy of American Poets Poem-A-Day, Triple Canopy, and elsewhere. She organizes against State-perpetuated violence with the grassroots humanitarian aid organization No More Deaths, and with About Face: Veterans Against the War.
